Nutrient Management: Education, Training and Certification

OMAFRA has made regulatory amendments to ensure continued proper management of nutrients in the province and to assist certificate and licence holders under the Nutrient Management Act.

• Any certificate or licence issued under the Nutrient Management Act that expires between April 14, 2020 and April 29, 2021 will have its expiry date extended to April 30, 2021.
• Although the expiry date has changed to April 30, 2021, the renewal process for each certificate and licence will remain the same (i.e. take/pass an exam; submit an application).

These amendments to Ontario's Regulation 267-03 under the Nutrient Management Act are posted on www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/R20148.
