Introduction

Les fournisseurs de matériel apicole jouent un rôle important dans l'industrie apicole ontarienne. Leurs catalogues présentent souvent de façon exhaustive tous les articles vendus et constituent de ce fait une excellente source d'information sur les produits offerts. Au printemps, la plupart des fournisseurs vendent des reines et des ruches pour essaimage. Il est recommandé aux apiculteurs de passer tôt leurs commandes d'abeilles et de reines de manière à pouvoir prendre des dispositions afin que les livraisons se fassent au bon moment. Il est important de tenir compte du délai d'exécution afin que le fournisseur puisse livrer les abeilles à la date demandée.
