In most cases, marketed production and farm value per pound statistics have been assembled by the Ontario Flue-Cured Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board according to the historical location of farm reference numbers. County acreage estimates are based on the 2006 Census of Agriculture; however, for Chatham-Kent, an adjustment was made to the planted area reported by the Census to reflect dark tobacco grown in this part of the province.
