per pound statistics have been assembled by the Ontario Flue-Cured
Tobacco Growers' Marketing Board according to the historical location
of farm reference numbers. County acreage estimates are based on Statistics
Canada's crops surveys. Marketed production and farm values include
any carry-over from the previous year's crop. However, average yields
have been adjusted to reflect the actual situation for each year.
