Our Service Standards

Information, Advice & Communication Services

  • We will communicate information, programs, resources and services to stakeholders through a variety of formats including the Agricultural Information Contact Center (AICC) and Northern Ontario Regional Office (NORO), e-bulletins, media, information kits, factsheets, publications, trade shows and meetings, resource centres and client information sites (CIS).
  • We will provide information on our programs and services on our website, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.ontario.ca/OMAFRA
  • We will provide agriculture production knowledge transfer activities through the AICC; program specialists and regional staff.
  • W e will provide prompt, consistent, and accurate follow up to inquiries, by phone and email within 2 business days and mail within 10 business days, 80% of the time.
  • We will provide high quality guidance, advice and information to stakeholders.

Education & Training

  • We will provide agriculture production knowledge transfer activities through a variety of mediums, including workshops and tours.
  • We will communicate the purpose of the training course to the client.
  • Our trainers engage and have effective presentation skills.
  • Training and education programs meet stated learning objectives, and provide relevant knowledge and skills..
  • Our training and education programs are delivered in clear/plain language for the intended audience.
