2017 Agricultural Society Annual Return and Grant Application

The Agricultural Society Annual Return and Grant Applications are now available. The deadline to submit an application is February 1, 2018.

Each society will be sent an information package either via email or mail by mid-November 2017 which will contain a link to its online Annual Return and Grant Application.

Before you begin the submission process, please print the following documents:

  • Guide for completing the Agricultural Society Annual Return and Grant Application
  • Checklist for completing the 2017 Agricultural Society Annual Return and Grant Application

In addition, please have all documents completed including:

  • audited financial statements
  • list of officers and directors and their addresses
  • audit certificate or a financial review by accounting professional

Other information or forms you may require:

  • Annual Return and Grant Application (Contact designated regional staff for a copy)
  • OMAFRA/MNDM Regional Contacts (names and contact information for Regional Staff)
  • Audit Certificate (Contact designated regional staff for a copy)
  • Financial Statement Templates (income statement, balance sheet and reconciliation of statements)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) form - Complete this form if you wish to receive your grant funds by direct deposit to your bank account. Societies only need to complete this form once, so if you have already submitted it, then it is not necessary to re-submit. Societies need to re-submit the EFT forms only if they have changed their banking information.

The required documents (audited financial statements, list and addresses of directors and officers, audit certificate) can be attached to the on-line submission or can be emailed or mailed to your Regional office.

Options for Completing and Submitting your Annual Return and Grant Application

Online:

  • You will receive your personalized link via email by mid-November
  • Use your personalized society link* to access the online application form. Before submitting, attach supporting documents, then click "Submit" and it will be forwarded automatically to your Regional Contact
  • Electronic submissions do not require signatures on Annual Return and Grant Application
  • Confirmation email (including copy of application) will be sent to you

Email to Regional Contact:

  • Fill out the application on screen (save to computer) and attach in email; or
  • Print the completed application - scan and attach in email; or
  • Print the blank application and fill out manually - scan and attach; and
  • Email to your Regional Contact

Mail/Courier to Regional Contact

  • Contact AHOA Administration at ahoa.admin@ontario.ca or your regional contact and request a paper copy of the application
  • Fill out the application on screen and print completed form; or
  • Print the blank application and fill out manually; or
  • Mail to your Regional Contact

Supporting Documents

  • Supporting documents can be scanned and attached to the online submission; or
  • Supporting documents can be scanned and submitted electronically or sent via mail, courier or fax to your Regional Contact
