PARO'S Enhanced Enterprise Centre
($239,630 over 3 years)

PARO Centre for Women's Enterprise and Thunder Bay Ventures will help rural women entrepreneurs start or grow their businesses. PARO's services include increasing women's access to credit, skills training, child care, transportation support, networking and other programs and activities promoting economic development. New innovative products and services including PARO on Wheels, power panels, e-learning, tele-classes, regional workshop series and one-on-one business advisory services will provide enhanced services for women living in rural Northern Ontario. Three new job positions were created, and three positions have been retained as a result of this investment.
