Training for Economic Development Officers and Municipal Staff

This one-day training session provides information, tips and tools on how to develop a human capital strategy for rural communities.

The training is intended to:

  • Highlight the importance of workforce development attraction and retention strategies in rural areas.
  • Provide ideas, methods and tools for developing strategies and programs that help attract and retain skilled newcomers.
  • Showcase how other communities have implemented their newcomer attraction and retention strategies.
