OMAFRA regional staff lead an interactive workshop on the fundamentals of economic development, where we share insights and provide you with practical tools to assist you in setting your municipal economic development strategy. The objectives of this training are to:

  • Provide you with a model of how to understand basic economic activity in your community
  • Increase your understanding of the potential scope of economic development activity
  • Identify potential roles for your municipality in economic development
  • Provide you with some practical tools to assist in your economic development efforts
