The ministry is committed to supporting the government's commitment to the openness and transparency of government. This Virtual Reading Room has been developed to provide easy access to ministry materials available for public access. Section 35 of Ontario's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) requires that certain materials be made generally available for inspection and copying by the public. Available materials should include ministry manuals, instructions, program applications and the annual report of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC). We are providing access to this information on the ministry website via a virtual reading room, to better serve the public. Program links have been provided for easy access to manuals, directives and guidelines that support ministry priorities.
