Tea connoisseurs can enjoy the earthy delights of a unique product line made in Northern Ontario using organic cultivated herbs and wild-harvested boreal forest plants. Production of the eight herbal teas helps support local herb producers and other businesses, and contributes to two First Nation communities. The Aroland First Nation supplies blueberries for the tea, and cranberries are purchased from The Iroquois Cranberry Growers. The teas have been showcased at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, and this exposure has helped to build a Southern Ontario customer base. In two years, sales have doubled for this innovation. Collaboration with a sauce and salad dressing processor may also bring potential expansion to the product lines. It's a great Northern blend of nature's ancient gifts with modern ingenuity.
