Wow - I can't believe it's not peanut butter! "Wowbutter" is a soy spread that tastes, smells and looks so much like peanut butter. Hilton Soy Foods came up with a proactive marketing strategy to focus on "Wowbutter" attributes - healthy and completely nut free. They created a new peel and stick "Safe4School" labelling system for their jars that can be applied to lunch containers. The labels can also be downloaded and printed from their website (www. soybutter.com). The company also developed a school letter and classroom poster to educate parents, children and teachers about their soy product. This small, rural, family-owned business has shown marketing savvy that educates consumers and creates demand for their product.
