Dalton Stone and MPP for Northumberland-Quinte West Lou Rinaldi The versatility of hemp has meant increased profits for Reuben Stone. The farmer replaced more than 100 acres of his traditional crops with organic and traditional hemp and he hasn’t looked back. Now he produces everything from hemp oil to cookies. He’s even developing a ready-to-bake packaged cookie dough and a granola-type energy bar. Stone is looking at doubling or tripling his crop in 2010.
