Chain Management Forum - Promoting Profitable Partnerships
On October
5, 2010, more than 130 people attended the Value Chain Management Forum in Guelph,
Ontario, hosted by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Industry participants from across the food value chain, including input suppliers,
producers, processors, distributors, retailers, attended this highly successful
one-day event.
Presentations from industry leaders demonstrated the
variety of ways to profit from value chain management by:
- capturing
new markets;
- finding competitive advantages; and
- increasing operational
efficiencies.
