Land Application Business Owner's Exam
Land Application Business Owner's ExamThis exam qualifies successful candidates for both the Broker's Certificate and the Prescribed Materials Application Business (PMAB) Licence. The exam includes questions pertaining to the Broker's Certificate and the Prescribed Materials Application Business Licence. The PMAB Licence is required by Individuals or businesses engaged in the business of applying prescribed materials to land for a phased-in operation for the purpose of growing agricultural crops. It is open to individuals who have completed the two-day Land Application Business Owner's Licence course. A fee of $150 will be charged for writing the exam. Locations:VinelandTo RegisterTo register for the exam, please call the Nutrient Management Information Line at 1-866-242-4460. Reference and resource materials will be provided at the exam. Copies of the Nutrient Management Act, Regulation and Protocols will be provided. Exam participants should bring calculators and pencils to the exam. A passing grade on the exam is 70%. If an exam participant does not achieve a passing grade, they will not be granted a certificate. Should a Land Application Business Owner's exam candidate write the exam three times without achieving a passing grade, the candidate will have to re-take the two-day course. Note: If you require only the Prescribed Materials
Application Business (PMAB) Licence (ie. you either already have or
you dont require the Broker's Certificate) you can write an
exam which covers only the PMAB Licence. The fee to write the PMAB
only exam is $150 and the registration process is the same as that
