Every effort has been made to make it as accurate as possible, but is not authoritative. Please refer to the e-Laws website or the official volumes printed by Publications Ontario for the authoritative text of the act. OMAFRA's Nutrient Management Branch field staff are located in regional resource centres located throughout the province, and provide assistance to producers as they become subject to Ontario Regulation 267/03, as amended to Ontario Regulation 511/05 under the Nutrient Management Act, 2002. Your local Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) resource centre is an excellent source of information and can provide you with appropriate contacts knowledgable about nutrient management planning. In addition, you can access the OMAFRA web site at www.omafra.gov.on.ca, call the Nutrient Management Toll-Free Information Line at 1-866-242-4460 or e-mail nman.omafra@ontario.ca. Local municipalities are also a source of information, especially for producers who are planning new or expanding operations. Producers are strongly encouraged to approach their municipality for other bylaw requirements to obtain a building permit. OMAFRA has staff located in the following offices to provide technical
