Based on a comparison of price per 100 weight for a 90 lb ewe lamb and a 140 lb cull ewe, there is point where the ewe has a higher market value than the replacement lamb; a point where the ewe has marginally lower market value than the replacement lamb; and a point where the ewe has lower market value than the replacement lamb.
