  • Rodent control around horse barns is essential. Mice and rats consume and contaminate hay, straw and grain, and cause considerable damage to buildings and electrical wiring. To assist in controlling and preventing a rodent problem: remove any food source (including spilled feed), rodent-proof buildings, eliminate nest sites, keep areas close to buildings trimmed and free of weeds and long grass, keep feed and waste in metal containers with tight fitting lids, eliminate standing water and dripping taps and practice good sanitation.
  • The University of Guelph invites you and your family to come and enjoy the weekend of activities during its annual open house - College Royal. College Royal is a giant student-run and student-coordinated open house that encompasses the entire campus and every department of the University of Guelph. Known throughout Canada as being one of the largest of its kind, College Royal has been going strong for over 75 years. For more information refer to their web site, http://www.collegeroyal.uoguelph.ca/
