A proposal is made to expand an existing livestock facility. The existing livestock facility does not meet MDS II setback requirements to the nearest neighbour's dwelling. An MDS II calculation should be done for the proposed expansion and the measurement for the setbacks to the nearest neighbour's dwelling should be measured from the closest point of the new expansion to the nearest neighbour, regardless if the existing livestock facility is closer, and does not meet the MDS II setback.
