A dwelling is proposed to be built on a vacant existing lot of record adjacent to an existing livestock facility. In accordance with Implementation Guideline #6, the municipality has chosen to apply MDS I. The measurement of the MDS I setback is taken as the shortest distance between the proposed dwelling and the livestock occupied portion of the livestock facility.
