A new livestock facility has been proposed in an area where several Type A land uses already occur. For the three adjacent existing residential dwellings located on separate lots, the MDS II measurement is taken from the closest point of each dwelling to the closest point of the proposed livestock facility. Kitty-corner to the proposed livestock facility is an area zoned low intensity recreation. The MDS II measurement is taken from the closest boundary of the area zoned to the nearest part of the proposed livestock facility. In this case, the proposed livestock facility meets the MDS II setbacks.
