Ontario releases new Drainage Act and Conservation Authorities Act Protocol (DART Protocol)

Working through the multi-stakeholder Drainage Act & Section 28 Regulations Team (DART), the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs have completed a new Protocol for drain maintenance and repair activities. The protocol document provides a simplified and practical permissions process under the Conservation Authorities Act regulations for municipal drain maintenance and repair work performed under the Drainage Act.
