New Eco-friendly Waterfront For Red Rock - McGuinty Government Expanding Community Infrastructure, Creating Jobs
Ontario is investing in a new eco-friendly waterfront centre in Red Rock to promote tourism, boost the local economy and create seven jobs. With support from the province, a centre is being built that will provide amenities for marina users such as shower, laundry and washroom facilities as well as an interpretive area. It will also house local enterprises, including a restaurant and other retail business. The new centre will be constructed using local wood and straw bale insulation that is environmentally friendly and has high insulating value. Partnering with businesses and communities in Northern Ontario is part of the McGuinty government's plan to create and support jobs for Ontario families and to strengthen local economies.
