Local Dairy Expands By 50 Percent -
McGuinty Government Supports Agri-Food Industry, Creates Jobs

A Huron County goat dairy farm is getting new equipment to expand its business, develop new products and tap into new markets.

With support from Ontario's Rural Economic Development Program, Gordon's Goat Dairy, a processor of artisan goat cheese and goat milk products, will:

  • install two new production systems to improve efficiency
    increase its workforce
  • increase its production capacity by 50 percent
  • produce and sell bottled goat milk

A strong agri-food industry is part of the McGuinty government's plan to create jobs and opportunities that will grow the province's economy.
