NewsLake Huron is being kept clean and healthy with the assistance of ten environmental, community projects. Through provincial support, these projects are helping reduce pollution from entering the lake, improving understanding of the lake’s characteristics and educating the public about protecting the watershed. These projects include:

The County of Huron has invested over $1.5 million in grants over the last five years to improve water quality in the watersheds, creeks and wetlands that feed Lake Huron.
