Ontario is helping revitalize Millbrook and improve access to rural health care by investing in the expansion of the Millbrook and District Medical Centre.

The province is investing $97,000 to help develop better patient consultation space, accessible washrooms and a secure records management area.  The expanded facility will also serve as a vital building block for the revitalization of Millbrook and to help entice new businesses to the area.

The funding is part of the Rural Economic Development Program which invests in community-based projects in three priority areas:

  • Improved access to health care services
  • Revitalized communities and downtowns
  • Enhanced skills training
