Call Centre Opens Door To Employment OpportunitiesOctober 7, 2008 NEWSOntario is helping the Town of Kapuskasing create a new call centre and attract new jobs to the area. The province is investing $600,000 to help renovate a 16,000-square-foot facility into a state-of-the-art 96-seat bilingual call centre. The call centre tenant is scheduled to expand into Kapuskasing in the fall. The creation of this new bilingual call centre will help alleviate the challenges associated with a weakening forestry industry. The funding is part of the Rural
Economic Development Program which invests in community-based projects
in three priority areas:
