Campbellford To Create Waterfront GatewayMcGuinty Government Invests in Campbellford Revitalization ProjectSeptember 9, 2008 NEWS
The province is investing $147,000 to create an improved gateway and accessible public space along the waterfront in Campbellford. The project will provide the waterfront with streetlights, railings, furniture, decorative landscaping and new signage. The revitalization of the downtown waterfront will provide an attractive atmosphere for people, and encourage employers and investors to relocate to downtown Campbellford. The funding is part of the Rural
Economic Development Program which invests in community-based projects

Building a gateway to the waterfront will go a long way to making Campbellford a destination of choice for tourists, employers and investors," said Trent Hills Mayor Hector Macmillan.
