MARKETING PLAN TO BOOST WEST NIPISSING ECONOMYMcGuinty Government Helps Make West Nipissing a Tourist Destination of ChoiceMay 15, 2008 NEWSOntario is helping the Municipality of West Nipissing develop a marketing strategy to increase tourism and create jobs. The province is investing $25,000 to help the municipality and its partners develop a strategy to position the community as an attractive destination for tourists, investors and businesses looking to relocate. As part of the project, the municipality will also conduct research to gain the insights of residents in developing a new slogan and brand identity for West Nipissing. The funding is part of the Rural
Economic Development Program which invests in community-based projects
