McGuinty Government Supports Madoc Revitalization

Ontario is helping revitalize Madoc and improve access
to rural health care by investing in the development of the Tri Area
Medical Centre.
The province is investing $138,000 to help replace the
existing medical centre with a more modern facility that will better
meet the health care needs of the community. This new medical facility
will also serve as the centre piece for the revitalization of the business
core of Madoc and help entice new businesses to the area.
The funding is part of the Rural
Economic Development Program which invests in community-based projects
in three priority areas:

said Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister Leona
Dombrowsky.

of the new Tri Area Medical Centre will become a reality," said
Dave Schulz, Chair Centre Hastings Medical Centre Board of Directors.
"This investment will help improve the quality of health care local
residents can expect now and in the future."
