The packing plants listed below have been approved by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to purchase cattle on a carcass weight basis. Inclusion on this list means the packing plants named are complying with the requirements of the Beef Cattle Marketing Act in respect to carcass dressing and weighing procedures. Any licensed dealer may have cattle slaughtered for rail grading in an approved plant.
