Advantage Certification Logos

The Advantage series of logos are the property of the Crown in right of Ontario. The logos are designed to indicate to buyers and the public that the company is an Ontario based food processor that has been certified by the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) as conforming to Food Safety Management System (FSMS) standards defined in the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' Advantage Series of Food Safety Programs™.

Only Ontario processors that are Advantage GMP, Advantage HACCP or Advantage HACCP Plus certified by the CGSB are eligible to use the Advantage series of logos.

Qualifying Ontario processors can use the logos at no charge. To use the logos, you must indicate how and where you intend to use the logos. Permitted use of the logos include advertising, labelling and packaging of any product produced in the Ontario based CGSB certified operation and in any business communications directly related to that operation including company letterhead and business advertising outside of Ontario as long as the logos are clearly only associated with the Ontario operation and its products.

Use of the logos in association with any products from operations outside of Ontario or in association with any food processing operation outside of Ontario is prohibited.

To inquire about the Advantage Series of Food Safety Programs™ logo use, please prepare an email, fax or letter indicating your:

• Company Name, including your CGSB certification number
• Contact Name and Contact Information
• Describe the intended use(s) of the Advantage series logo

Upon reviewing your request, we will send or email you the Advantage logo contract for your review and completion.
