Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is an internationally recognized food safety system that is used to help ensure the manufacture of safe food products.

The Advantage Series of Food Safety Programs™ have been developed by OMAFRA. The program has been designed to be practical and feasible for all facilities, regardless of size or commodity processed.  Numerous Ontario food processors have taken the initiative and have become Advantage certified

OMAFRA has developed several materials to support the Advantage Series of Food Safety Programs™ including a comprehensive program manual and guidebook.
