Food Labelling Regulations
Canadian Regulations: Guide to Food Labelling and Advertising (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) provides information for the food industry on policies and regulations for the labelling and advertising of foods in Canada. For companies continuing to use the former regulations and guidelines on nutrition labelling during the transition period (until 2007), Sections V, VI and VII of the old Guide to Food Labelling and Advertising are available below. U.S. Regulations: U.S. Food and Drug Administration provides FDA Food Labelling web pages address the labelling requirements for foods under the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act and its amendments. U.S. Labelling Guide provides a summary of the required statements that must appear on food labels under these laws and their regulations. Federal Register On-Line (U.S. Regulations) the official daily
publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies
and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential
