Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) describes good manufacturing practices (the day-to-day activities associated with food safety programs) and gives a number of practical 'how to' suggestions to help start using them.

  • best practices in Sanitation, Pest Control and Preventative Maintenance, and
  • creating a Recall plan.

Training Resources

  • Good Manufacturing Practices DVD: Personnel Practices. This DVD is a great tool for training plant employees. It is available in eight languages including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices training kit: This customizable kit helps food processors train employees on Good Manufacturing Practices. It includes visual aids, trainer's notes, participant's workbooks and workbooks with answers.
