Who we are

Ontario Food Exports (OFEX), of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, is the Ontario government program that assists the food and beverage sector to increase sales revenue by identifying and maximizing their export opportunities.

OFEX:

• supports clients from the initial market assessment stage to full export capability
• provides qualified, interested buyers with access to capable suppliers
• is the gateway to a whole range of export-related services.

Clients attribute increased export sales directly to participation at OFEX events.
e.g. Street Smart buyer introductions generate millions in exports annually

Our primary focus is building value-added exports in Ontario's food and beverage
sector by:

• working principally with small to medium sized Ontario enterprises
• assisting larger food and beverage producers, when required.
