PROFIT - Food Export Seminar
May 13 - 14, 2008

This is your invitation to participate in a two-day seminar on exporting food and beverage products to the USA. The session will be held in the Eastern Ontario area. The seminar, featuring over 15 speakers, is a 'hands-on' orientation covering the basic requirements for food and beverage exporters. Topics discussed include: export financing, product labeling, US tax laws, US food brokerage, US food distribution, US Food & Drug regulations, USDA regulations, US Customs and Immigration and customs brokerage. Export development services, provided by this Ministry and Canadian Consulates, will also be presented.

Who Should Attend?

Sales/Marketing/Logistics Staff of:

• Companies considering exporting
  
• Companies recently started exporting
• Export companies with new staff

Cost:

$350 per person (all inclusive). Includes: the PROFIT GuideBook (containing all presentation material), round-trip motor coach transportation to Buffalo, accommodations in Buffalo and all meals.

Please Note:
There have been hundreds of graduates
since PROFIT was started in 1984.
This seminar is offered only once a year.

Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis
and this program has been over-subscribed in the past.
To keep this program effective, space is limited to 25 participants.
