Figure 1-1 is an Example for a 24-hour Restricted Entry Interval on a pesticide label.
From 0 to 4 hours after the end of the application, do not enter. The end of the application is the start of the 24-hour Restricted Entry Interval. No one may enter the treated area.
From 4 to 12 hours after the end of the application, early re-entry by a certified farmer is allowed. The certified farmer must not do hand labour tasks and must only be in the area for less than one hour in 24 hours. Certified farmer must wear the PC and PPE stated on the label for mixing plus wear a NIOSH-approved respirator.
From 12 to 24 hours after the end of the application: early re-entry by workers is allowed. Workers must not do any hand labour tasks or contact any surfaces that may have residues. PC and PPE items must be worn if stated on the label for early re-entry.
24 or more hours after end of the application, anyone may enter. This is the end of the Restricted Entry Interval on a label with a re-entry from 24 hours to several days.
