Pesticide Schedules in Ontario

The Ontario Ministry of the Environment reviews each pesticide product offered for sale in Ontario and classifies it into one of 6 groupings called Schedules.

Only certified growers or licensed exterminators may buy and use Schedule 1, 2 and 5 pesticides. Assistants may also use Schedule 2 and 5 pesticides if they are trained and supervised as required.
