Fungicide seed treatment is very effective against this disease. Other options include the use of tolerant varieties and disease-free seed. Plant into a well-prepared seed bed under good growing conditions. Use wheat in at least a 3 year rotation since the disease can survive in wheat residue. Seed Treatment
