DescriptionAdults
are pale-green, wedge-shaped, winged insects about 3 mm long with piercing and
sucking mouth parts. Adults are broadest towards the head, the body tapering evenly
to the wing tips. They have a row of six rounded, white spots behind their head.
Nymphs are smaller than adults and are wingless.

Lock and load. Must be applied in a 10-15 cm band over the row behind the
planter shoe, in front of the press wheel. Do not place in direct contact with
seed. Do not feed the foliage of treated beans within 60 days. Seed
TreatmentConsider using insecticide seed treatment on fields with a history
of leafhopper infestations, to reduce the number of foliar applications required.
Research has shown insecticide seed treatment to last at least 4-6 weeks after
planting, eliminating the need for at least one foliar insecticide application.
