Integrated Pest Management Options
Most severe when cool, wet conditons delay harvest. Some varieties are
more susceptible than others. Fungicide seed treatments will improve the
germination of low to moderately infected seed. Do not plant severely
infected seed. Plant good quality seed with a germination rate of at least
80%-90%. Rotate with non-host crops such as corn and wheat, remove excess
surface residue and harvest as early as possible.
