  • Impact is a new broadleaf and grass herbicide for use only in field corn that is to be tank-mixed with Frontier and atrazine.

Precautions:

  • Use ONLY with pedigreed (certified) corn seed designated as "Roundup Ready Corn".
  • The initial application is recommended between the 2-6 leaf stage to remove early season competition. A second application at the low use rate may be applied up to the 8 leaf stage of corn.
  • Use the high rate for perennial and difficult to control weeds up until the 6 leaf stage of corn.
  • Use 100-200 L/ha (40-80 L/ac) of water.

Weed Control Rating Revisions:

The following weeds are registered for control or suppression using the following field corn herbicides. Refer to Table 9-1 and 9-2 in the 2006-2007 Guide for the appropriate control ratings of each product on the weed species identified below.

  • Burcumber - Pardner + atrazine. Rating: "8"
  • Sandbur - Accent. Rating: "7"
  • Field bindweed - Accent + Peakplus (Accent 1-Pass). Rating "5"
