Brush Control

There are several techniques that may be used for the chemical control of deciduous woody species: stem foliage sprays, basal bark sprays and frilling or spot treatments. The choice of technique will depend on such factors as brush type, accessibility, availability of equipment, proximity to susceptible crops or ornamental vegetation and the size of the control program.
