Turfgrass Retardation

Reduction in grass growth may be brought about by treatment with maleic hydrazide (Royal MH 60 SG, 6.5 to 8 kg/ha (2.6 to 3.2 kg/ac) product). Folow manufacturer's directions carefully. This chemical is recommended for use in areas where mowing and trimming are difficult and where a lawn like appearance is not necessary. See Chapter 4, Notes on Herbicides (Maleic Hydrazide).
