Specialty Vegetables - Fertility

Because of the wide range of specialty crops, a single fertility recommendation cannot be made. However, a balanced fertility program based on a soil test can form the basis for good crop health. Experience from traditional, related crops will also be useful. See Chapter 1, Vegetable Crop Fertility, on page 1, for more information on nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and the micronutrients.
