Tips on Searching the Collection

This collection concentrates on reports that have not been published in scientific journals. These reports on applied research in vegetable production have not previously been widely available or centrally collected and catalogued. Many reports of this type have already been lost as people retired and files were discarded. To find reports published in scientific journals, please consult a database of journal articles, such as Agricola, available elsewhere on the library website.

• You can search for crops and pests by common name or scientific name.
• Pesticides are listed by active ingredient only.
• Once in a document, you can often use the pdf reader's search function to quickly search for additional terms.
• At the bottom of each record is a list of "Files in This Item". Click the name of the file or "View/Open" to open the file.
