One of the most well documented and researched areas of horticulture remains
the discipline of postharvest physiology. Included in this documentation are all
those responses of various cultivars to disease organism infections and various
physical factors including different types of CA gases, freezing injury and the
like. The web is resource rich in photo Gallery shots of various disorders. Some
are cultivar specific. We often get asked about what caused the wrinkle in the
skin or the decay or breakdown of a specific apple variety. A lot of the answers
can be found by exploring web resources.
