Agricorp Statement on the Corn Mould Issue - October 16, 2006

Agricorp is aware that there may be a higher than usual occurrence of ear mould in the 2006 crop about to be harvested. The industry is mounting a concerted effort to alert producers and users and is conducting tests to assess the magnitude of the problem and in order to develop appropriate management recommendations.

At this time Agricorp is advising its customers and staff to proceed as follows:

1. As per usual, customers are expected to report any damage to the crop immediately when it is identified. Early identification and reporting is required in order for Agricorp to monitor crop progress and adjudicate insurance claims.
   
   
2. We encourage customers to harvest as effectively as they can and to report yields as the harvest unfolds.
   
   
3. Customers who are concerned should have tests conducted to determine the levels of mycotoxins.
   
   
4. Customers should market their corn in the most advantageous method possible.
