  • Visual monitoring
  • Very distinctive symptoms apparent late June - early July.

Monitoring Techniques Thresholds

  • Visual monitoring, no established thresholds
  • Disease can spread to fruit indicating high pressure

Additional Notes

  • Spring fungicides may be a problem when oil is applied in the spring, so fall (just as leaves drop after hard frosts) is the preferred timing for leaf curl control
